Good job, Chris W.!
Kind of reminiscent of an Orrin Thompson tract house I once lived in.

Chris W., that house is gorgeous! Love all the stuff posted so far - a lot of it is a blast from the past for this old fart.

Skell- all that clothing is Gorgeous
Shasta- Im in love with the Elephant <3
Hafi-  sure that i ahve already fangirled over the chat, but thank you for converting them
Chris W.- the house is lovely! that little backyard looks so nice, i want to go live there.
Hermit Fox- JEM! that brings good memories <3
Cous- Oh that hair looks nice
Kaitlin- those posters can work nicely for a fashion studio, thank you!

Wasnt sure if i would make it to this monthly theme, as i have been pretty distracted, but i actually could make something, isnt exactly what i wanted, but i like how they look, so hope someone would find them a good use!

The Big Apple; is based on a an outfit found on the vintage section of All About Style that used a ModdishKitten mesh, I changed the pants for Bunheads lovely wide pants with Shananigans heels and used Maxis textures for the fur. Six different pants colours with fur in white, black and brown. Outerwear only. Seasons required.

The City of Light; after finishing the first outfit, was tempted to do something similar with another mesh using the short fur jacket with yet another Bunheads mesh; the Noir Dress with Amarylls heels this time. Originally was going to use another high waist skirt, but ended up falling in love with this possibility. Only four colours. Outerwear Only Seasons required.

Credits:

Meshes: ModdishKitten, Bunhead, Eaxis
Textures: Bunhead, Eaxis

I wasn't sure if these would fit the theme or not, I fear they may be a little before the 40's, but my knowledge of architecture is limited.  If they aren't appropriate, let me know and I'll take them down.

I have always loved CuriousB's conversions of Awesim's cornices, but to me they looked strange on single storey buildings.  An entire extra half wall-height seemed out of proportion.

So I took my favourite of the three sets (Cornice 3) and halved their height, I think this works better on shorter buildings than the originals.

Here, Curious B's are on the right, my edits on the left.

I have also included a half height version of the deco end post from the same set.  This is slaved to CuriousB's original decorative end post, so you will need that for it to work.

For the kickers

and you can get them HERE

EDIT:  Forgot to mention the half height cornices come in all ten of the colours/textures originally converted by CuriousB

Imalia, those edited Cornices are awesome.I use the original Cornices on almost every house and now we can have cute little baby cornices, too (uhmm,i guess this was the first time someone used these words to describe cornices...)
I guess they are also in the Fences Section, right?

Yes, they are also in the fences section and cost 100 simoleons.  Deco end post is in deco/sculptures.  Lunie just informed me I can slave the fences, so if there's interest in having a completely slaved set, I can see if I can add those too?
