Aw, man, I'm surprised this theme isn't getting more love! I guess this makes me the first... awkward.
But it means I don't feel so bad about being late, so there's that. I meant to have this done on time, but I forgot the theme was only the third day, and forgot how much I had left to do, and procrastinated... yeah. So I wound up tossing together what I had and scraping together the probably-overdone preview post-last-minute, heh. Glad we technically have until the first. Anyway! Onwards, I suppose.
Robots are my favorite scifi thing. Hell, perhaps one of my top favorite things, period. So of course, they're what I go to for a scifi theme. I wanted to do some eyes like this a while back, never did, then figured they'd be good for the theme so got off my lazy butt and went for it (then only had time for v1.0 and not the other versions I had in mind... maybe some other time
). Neeever done eyes before this so I hope that doesn't show too badly.
So! Pretty simple. A silly number of options which seems to be my Thing, but otherwise just the eyes and one-eyed contacts for mix-n-matchin'.
- Swatches -
The primary colors (which in hindsight, I should've called RGB) and static ones come as regular eyes and contacts (the contact versions are labeled as "Heterochromatic"), and the damaged ones are just contacts. The damaged swatches look pretty silly laid out like that but I think they look better in action. Hopefully.
The really light/bright colors have optional black cracks, which I sometimes think looks okay and sometimes think looks wrong... But everything's clearly labeled and sorted so you can decide for yourself if you like. I'm notoriously indecisive and a bit of a pefectionist, so I would never have posted these had I actually waited until I could drill down to the ones I felt were "best", haha. Sometimes its best to let go and let people with prooobably better taste than I have, and who haven't been staring at it for far too long, decide for me.
Credits are simple--GeneralZoi of MTS for the cyborg eye mesh, and I just did the textures and whatnot from scratch. The meshes are included, and work for both genders, ages child and up (not all are a perfect fit, but I think the imperfections are subtle enough to be manageable). They sort as glasses, of course. Files are compressorized, tooltipped, clearly named and sorted, swatches/preview and credits included... and I think that's everything! Hope someone has a use for 'em.
