How Low Can You Go?

Please include the poly count of the mesh you used/made when you post

copied from evanesco:
What poly is a low poly?
A low poly is one which is similar to its original Maxis counterparts. Thanks to technological progress, most systems can handle more polys than just the Maxis ones. Therefore, roughly, for this theme a low poly is equal to or a third greater than a Maxis one and fits into the following guidelines:
Hair - 6500 or less.
Objects - 1000 per tile for furniture, and max 1500 for one tile deco objects.
Hood deco - 200 or less.

If you don't know how to find the poly count, go here. To check if the mesh you are using is low poly, have a look at some Maxis versions - if they are similar or a bit greater ( x 1.3) then yes!

You are free to make recolours of any low poly meshes or even better, new meshes!

Please remember to include a kicker-sized image and a 150x100 button for the index  Smiley

I might have something to contribute to this theme! Cheesy There's a few old Peggy hairs that I did when I was first learning how to retexture that I'm thinking about redoing.

I might be able to finally contribute something...  I have a few old XM hair meshes kicking around from my old game that would be great for my first retexture attempt. I've got just about all of Nouk's hairs, too.  No guarantee that anything from me will be quality, though  Embarrassed

Okay, let me try this again! I retextured XMS_Flora 94 in Simgaroop colors/textures, this time with Rented-Space's age conversion included!

This hair is Child-Elder, has 5661 Polys, and does have a slight boob shape that 's a bit...exaggerated, if that makes sense.
This comes in all 6 of Simgaroop's colors, is binned and elders do go gray (linked to black).
Mesh is included!

Whispers, that hair is really cute!

I was browsing all over to find something to do for this theme, but I couldn't find anything. So I did some other stuff and when I checked the poly count, behold, a low poly item  Big Grin

button || swatch

I saw this on OhMySims's tumblr and thought it would be great for my Downtown dark alleys. So I converted it. This is Nabuk's card board box shelter, retextured by Ohmysims. It's in deco>sculptures for $5. There's two textures, both by Ohmysims.
