Uhm, so... My first creation ever! I'm totally freaked out because of it, so it's possible that I put wrong files in the zip or something, so please let me know if anything's wrong...

Please excuse the low quality of everything, I'm really not good at this, I just loved the theme and wanted to participate, but I'm afraid enthusiasm can't make up for my total lack of talent.

Anyways, I made some carnival themed, rather crappy clothing recolors.
^this should be coffin kicker image

This set includes one CF dress, TF top and skirt (separates), two AF tops (one isn't on the picture, but it's AF version of the TF one) and EF dress.

EPs needed:
Free Time for CF dress
Apartment Life for EF dress
University for TF skirt

Credits:
Skell - Matchmaker's top for AF and TF
Mel - 3t2 Caplet Couture top
Pooklet and Furbyq for their color actions

Meshes are included.

Aawww, thank you, potpiesims and Quest for Sims! That's so nice of you!
Also, now that I'm not so nervous because of all that uploading junk, I want to say thank-you for all creations here! You people are fabulous! I'm so happy to see TS1 conversions.
Makin' Magic is my fav EP too! They improved the game a lot since TS1, but none other EP has such unique and almost tangible feel to it.

Penelopet, what a great way to start the theme with! Those are very nice.
Dea, I need the conversions so badly in my game right now. I'm in love.
Malady, those are some cool facial paints!
SadoAlice, those dresses are incredibly cute. They were one of my favourites in TS1!
Sigel, that's not junk at all! Those are really nice recolours. Smiley

Oh gosh everything looks fantastic! I'm optimistic that I can make something for the theme (permitted my GIMP stops crashing and I can fix my previous upload that needs fixing) and I'm eager to see what else comes along!

Sigel, I would never have guessed it was your first creation!!
And Shasta, not only is your creation fabulous but I'm in love with the previews!

Thank y'all, glad you liked the recreations!

By the grace of Mod, I have been allowed to post the following stuff a day later. There was so much I had planned for this theme, but stuff happened in Real Life and I didn't meet my target.

Nevertheless, no circus theme is complete without circus tents, right?

(Crappy previews which I will later fix)

I retextured the circus tents converted from the TS3 Store set World of Wonders by Crisps & Kerosene, with circus walls by estatica @ TSR, a wall converted from Makin' Magic, and another custom texture I found online.

The swatch can be found below:

The files total about 90 MB if I recall correctly. You get 6 recolors (occasionally, 4, for some of the roof pieces) for each of the 10 meshes. Meshes included. Regarding what C&K said in her original upload post, while I did the retextures I discovered they couldn't be slaved because of the different fabric folding textures for each of the tent pieces... yeah.

Will cross-post to Tumblr after I'm done with the real previews.

I'll be posting previews from my main game soon, including kickers-sized pics, I didn't have the time to polish this upload post Embarrassed

Oh -- and do you mind if I post another thing for this theme today? Assuming I'm done with it in a reasonable amount of time.

GAH I had been so looking forward to this theme and was excited to contribute something to it as well but I clearly underestimated everything real life would need from me this month, much as it pains me to admit. All the contributions have been awesome though, thanks to everyone!

Alright then, thank you Cheesy Here's another one, the cotton candy machine converted by C&K here, retextured (comes in 3 very similar colors), plus 4 retextures of the cotton candy itself.

(my poor netbook doesn't have anti-aliasing)

I replaced an unrecolorable texture in C&K's original package file, the light bulbs at the top of the machine. I recommend that you replace the mesh, if you already had it in the game.

Will replace those previews too Embarrassed Hope you like it!

I think that the only thing I still have time to post is a couple of old retextures of Le Cirque Nouveau items, if I'm not being shamelessly late already... But first, some food and sleep.

I'm shamelessly downloading, so I figured I better say "Thank you!" to all the creators!
